PetAngelo helps you track your pet's health and get AI-powered guidance from photos. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and your choices. By using PetAngelo you agree to this policy.
Account details (your name and email). Pet profiles (name, species, breed, birth date, sex, weight, microchip, notes, photos). Health data you enter (AI scan photos, notes, vaccinations, medications, vet visits). Basic technical data used to run and improve the service.
To provide the app and sync your pets and records across devices; to run AI Health Checks; to send reminders you set up; and to keep the service secure and improve it.
When you run an AI Health Check, the photo and related pet details are processed by our AI provider (Google, via Firebase AI Logic / Gemini) to generate guidance. We do not use your photos to train our own models without your consent. AI guidance is informational only and is not a veterinary diagnosis.
Your data is stored securely using Google Firebase (Cloud Firestore and Cloud Storage), encrypted in transit and at rest, and tied to your account so only you can access it.
We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with the service providers that operate the app on our behalf (Google Firebase and Google's AI services), and only as needed to provide the service or where required by law.
We keep your data while your account is active. You can delete individual pets, scans and records at any time, and permanently delete your account from Settings, which removes your account and associated data.
Depending on your location (including the EU/GDPR and Turkey/KVKK), you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal data. Contact us at hello@petangelo.com to exercise these rights.
PetAngelo is not intended for children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country). We do not knowingly collect data from children.
PetAngelo provides informational guidance only and is not a substitute for professional veterinary diagnosis or treatment. If your pet is in distress, contact a veterinarian immediately.
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected here with a new date.
